Eugenia "Jean" Sapp

Eugenia “Jean” Sapp, age 88, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away, peacefully, on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Baptist Medical Center. Jean was born in Fort White, Florida, to the late Lawrence and Daisy Douberly on August 20, 1934. Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church of Macclenny. After many years as Food Service Director with the Baker County School Board, she retired to enjoy fishing at Lake George with her husband and family. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Bobby. Jean is survived by her children, Sandra (Steve) Rhoden of Biloxi, MS., Ronnie Sapp of Glen St. Mary, FL., Donnie (Donna) Sapp of Glen St. Mary, FL. and Brenda (Mike) Davis of Macclenny, FL. Jean had eight grandchildren, Brett, Shane, Kyle, Chris, Kelly, Stephanie, Ethan, Torin and fifteen great grandchildren. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Jean is survived by her two sisters, Jackie Harris and Venita Milton. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 14, at Guerry Funeral Home Chapel in Macclenny with David and Timmy Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at 1PM and the service will begin at 2 PM.
