Eunice Martin

Ms. Eunice Martin, age 84, of Glen St. Mary, FL passed away Monday, January 2, in the Frank Wells Nursing Home, Macclenny, FL. Ms. Martin had spent most of her life as a resident of Baker County and was a member of the Taylor Church, Taylor, FL. She worked as a nursing aid and retired from the Northeast Florida State Hospital, Macclenny, FL. Ms. Martin enjoyed music, dancing, and loved to fish. She liked to play bingo and loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Farley “Junior” Burnsed, Jr., husband, A.L. Moody, Jr. and husband, Donald Martin. She is also preceded in death by three children, Jane Elizabeth Burnsed, Jeffery Burnsed and Derrell Burnsed. Ms. Martin is survived by two daughters, Christine Taylor (Darwin) and Rebecca “ Becky” Williams (Steve) both of Glen St. Mary, FL: one brother, William Rhoden, Jr. (Anna) of St. George, GA: two sisters, Helen Caudell (Herb) of Sanderson, FL and Patricia Davis (Russell) of Macclenny, FL. Six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Ms. Martin will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, January 5 in the Taylor Church with Rev. Mark Woods, Pastor, officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, January 4 in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 E., Macclenny, FL.
