Mrs. Evelynia “Eve” Brown, age 76, of Lake City, Fla. died Saturday, Jan. 25, in the Custerd Care Center-Haven Hospice, Orange Park Fla. following a long illness. She was born in Lawtey, Fla. and lived in Pensacola, Fla. and Strake, Fla. before moving to Lake City, Fla. 54 years ago. She worked for over 30 years as a cashier with S & S Food Stores, Suwanne Swifty Food Stores and Kirby Oil Company all of Lake City, Fla. She was a member of The Lord’s Church, Taylor, Fla. She loved to bowl with the Wednesday Nite Womens Bowling League, Lake City, Fla. and gardening and traveling with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Pablo) Ferrari of Jacksonville, Fla.: Two sons, Michael Brown of Macclenny, Fla. and Mitchell Brown of Palm Bay, Fla.: One sister, Nettie Norsworthy of Lake Butler, Fla.: One brother, Leon Sweat of Ocala, Fla.: Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, Jan. 28, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Elder George Dugger, Pastor of the Woodstock Park New Congregational Holiness Church, Jacksonville, Fla., officiating. Interment will be in North Prong Cemetery, Baker County, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, Jan. 27, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Fla.
