Forrest Randall Durance

I have been forced to say goodbye to the love of my life, the beat of my heart, my soul mate. There is so much to say about the most respected, admired, and loved man I was not only blessed to have known, but I was given the gift as his partner in this crazy place we call “Life”. This was a man who took on the task of raising his daughter, Sonya, all on his own and at a very young age. For those who know Sonya, they know he did a job no other could do as well. He also took on the task as “dad” to Noura and Tariq so naturally as if they were his own. Forrest Randall Durance left this earth on March 28, 2014. He left behind his wife, Meaghan Haggerty Durance, his daughter Sonya Durance Cushman, his daughter Noura Tber, his son Tariq Tber his son-in-law Chad Cushman, his brother Stacey Durance , his mother Betty Durance Davis, and his grandchildren, Dalton Forrest Cushman and Kiley Michelle Cushman. He left this life doing one of the things he loved best, riding his Harley on the back country roads. After stopping by my workplace just for a kiss, he rode off for the last time. There are countless hearts aching by this loss, but he is now dancing in the sky, beaming his love on each and every one of us. Goodbye, my Love. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 3, at 1 P.M. at the home of Chad and Sonya Cushman, 7828 Klein Rd, Glen St. Mary, Fla.
