Frank Craig

Mr. Frank Harry Craig, peacefully passed away at his home in Macclenny, FL Tuesday, November 9th and went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 89. Frank was born on April 20, 1932.Frank moved to Macclenny, FL from Newark, OH 49 years ago and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Macclenny, FL.  Frank was a lover of God and an avid FSU fan, loved his family cookouts and his time with his family and friends. Upon moving to Baker County he started up the Little League program and the Touchdown Club. He served 5 years in the Navy during the Korean War serving his country. He dearly enjoyed keeping his yard looking beautiful. His most favorite role of all was playing Santa Claus for not only his family but many other families and friends in Baker County.  Frank is preceded in death by his loving wife, Bonnie, of 67 years, his parents, Harry and Mrytle Craig, son –in- law, Smokey Cabreara, and brothers, Ralph and Charlie Craig. He is survived by his sons, Mike (Diane) Craig, Andy (Merri) Craig, Rod (Sue) Craig and Brad (Connie) Craig, all of Macclenny, FL: daughters, Becky (Larry) Lord and Tami (Rondle) Lyons both of Macclenny, FL. Twenty-three grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Frank will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, November 13 in Calvary Baptist Church with Brother John Sharman officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Friday, November 12 at the church. Interment will immediately follow the funeral services in Woodlawn Cemetery.
