Frank Warren Shepard

Mr. Frank Warren Shepard, age 81, of Glen St. Mary, Florida died Monday, July 16, in the Macclenny Nursing and Rehab Center, Macclenny, Fla. following a long illness. He was a native of Macclenny, Fla. and had resided in Glen St. Mary, Fla. since 1973. He served with the U.S. Air Force for 20 years retiring as a Master Sgt. in 1969. He worked as the Director of Safety with Aero Corp., Lake City, Fla. until his retirement after 26 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a graduate of Lake City Community College, and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed woodworking, Florida State football and the Alhambra Dinner Theatre. He was preceeded in death by his parents Ike Virgil and Irene Rowe Shepard. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jean Shepard of Glen St. Mary, Fla.: His children, Russell (Ann) Shepard of Plant City, Fla., Donnie (Brenda) Shepard of Burkburnett, Texas, Debbie (Scott) Everard of Virginia Beach, Va., Kelly (Paula) Shepard of Glen St. Mary, Fla., and Steve (Rhonda)Shepard of Ft. Smith, Ark.: Three step-sons, Richard D Hartman, Thomas A. Hartman, and Timothy (Karin) Hartman all of Lake City, Fla.: Sister-in-law, Beverly Shepard of Ft. Worth, Texas: Twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Friday, July 20, in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Pope, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Fla. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday, July 19, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, Fla.
