Frankie Z. Myers, age 84, of Lake City, Fla. passed away March 18, 2015. Mrs. Myers was born to Cleveland Wesley and Alberta Pearce Williamson in Lulu, FL. Most of her life was spent in Lake City after relocating from Lulu. Mrs. Myers was an ordained Pentecostal Minister in which she took great pride. Mrs. Myers was the former owner of Coffee Shop Downtown, former owner of the Terrace Motel of Lake City and was an avid bowler and loved to travel and enjoy her ministry. Frankie was a longtime member of Women of the Moose chapter 1399 located in Lake City. She was preceded in death by her late husband, James Arthur Parnell, her step-grandfather, Clarence E. Williamson, seven siblings, Cleveland Williamson, Jr., Edwin “Buck”Williamson, Iva Jo Clark, Dorothy Tripp, Hallie Kicklighter, Coralee Gladdin and Alvie LaGrane.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons Jerry A. (Paula) Parnell of Lake City, Dewey (Sandie) Parnell of Ocala, Danny (Ashley) Parnell of Sarasota, Dewayne (Gwen) Parnell of Lake City and Daughter, Sue (Rocky) Yarbrough of Lake City, Fla.: Four grandchildren, Pam Parnell, A.J. (Melanie) Yarbrough, Lindsay Parnell and Skylar Parnell: Great-grandchildren, Kelsey Mott, Tristin Mott, Zoey Yarbrough and soon to be delivered Savannah Yarbrough.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 23, 2015 in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Reverend Pat Chewning of Live Oak, Fla. will be officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Huntsville Cemetery in Lake City, FL.
