Fred Eugene Gross Jr.

Mr. Fred Eugene Gross Jr., age 62, of Sanderson, Fla. died Wednesday, Oct. 1, in the Orange Park Custead Care Center, Orange Park, Fla. Mr. Gross was born in Columbus, Ohio and resided in Jacksonville, Fla. before moving to Baker County over 30 years ago. He served in the United States Air Force and worked at Ameristeel in Baldwin, Fla. for over 15 years before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his late wife of 25 years, Brenda Gross and his son, Shawn Gross and his father, Fred Eugene Gross, Sr. Mr. Gross is survived by his mother, Sara Jo Gross, Jacksonville, Fla.: Two daughters, Dana Dugger, Jacksonville, Fla. and Theresa Gross, Taylor, Fla.: Two brothers, Jay Gross, Atlanta, Ga. and Timothy Gross, Taylor, Fla.: Two sisters, Cathy Adams and Julie Starling, both of Glen St. Mary, Fla. Three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M., Friday, October 3, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, Fla. Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery, Taylor, Fla. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 A.M. (One hour before services) at Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Fla.
