George Berry Boston

Mr. George Berry “G.B.” Boston, Jr., age 91, of Lake City, Florida died Thursday, Nov. 3, in Hospice of Volusia-Flagler, Orange City, Florida following a long illness.  He was born in Lake City, Florida  and resided in Jacksonville, Florida before moving back to Lake City, Florida many years ago.  He worked with the Duval County School System for many years.  He was a member of the North Lake City Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents,  George B. and Alice Ophelia Parker Boston. He is survived by his wife, Myrna L. Boston of Deland, Florida:  his stepson, Richard Hallman of Jacksonville, Florida:  several nieces and nephews also survive.  A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Boston will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, Nov.  7, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Barney Hurst, Pastor of the North Lake City of God, officiating.  Interment will be in Siloam Cemetery, Columbia County, Florida.
