George Dwain Crawford, 61, a resident of Macclenny, Florida passed away January 5, 2012 at the Orange Park Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mr. Crawford was a lifelong resident of Macclenny, Florida and is the son of the late Ardell and Nancy Mae Bennett Crawford. He was a truck driver for many years and a member of the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include Six Stepchildren Three Sisters: Janice Crawford, Macclenny, Fl., Betty (Millage) Burnsed, of Jacksonville, Fl. and Bonnie Jean (Finis) McDonald, Katie, Texas. Three brothers: Amos Crawford, Lake Butler, Fl., Auzzie (Bertha) Crawford, of Glen St. Mary, Fl. and Bobby (Bernice Jean) Crawford, of Glen St. Mary, Fl.. Several Step Grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Crawford will be conducted Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Brother David Crawford, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday January 9, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
