Georgina Myers

April 19, 1940 — January 9, 2012

Georgina Myers, 71, passed away in St. Petersburg, Fl. on January 9, 2012 after a long illness. Georgina was born in Portugal, but spent most of her life in Lake City, Florida where she was known for her kind spirit and love for others. Georgina loved to garden and was once awarded the Lake City Garden Clubs "Lawn of the Month". She had a love for fine spicy food and was known to carry a bottle of "Tobasco" sauce wherever she went. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. Her life was devoted to ensuring the sucess and happiness of her family and friends. Her selflessness is rare and will be missed. Georgina is survived by her four children: Gina Cabino (Tim) Tusing of Gainesville, Fl., Joseph Cabino (Lydia) of Fredricksburg, Va., Christina Cabino (Dan) Weldon of Tampa, Fl., Linda Cabino (Chris) Lamott of Nashville, Tn. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Tim, Joseph, Christian, Isaiah, Isaac, Danny, Sabrina, Sophia, Gabe, Caleb and Andrew. Funeral services for Mrs. Myers will be conducted Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M., in the Epiphany Catholic Church with Father Robert Trujillo, officiating. Visitation with the family will start at 10:00 A.M., at Epiphany Catholic Church prior to mass starting at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Boulevard, Clearwater, Fl. 33760-3407 or Bon Secours St. Petersburg, 10401 Roosevelt Boulevard North, St. Petersburg, Fl. 33716-3836. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 SW Main Blvd., Lake City is in charge of all arrangements.
