Mrs. Gloria Jean Beasley, age 80, of Macclenny, FL passed away Friday, January 14 in the St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Middleburg, FL. Mrs. Beasley has been a resident of Baker County, FL since 1979 when she moved from Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Beasley was a Christian who was strong in her faith. She worked as a welder in a man’s world and enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, and reading. Mrs. Beasley is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Oliver Miller Sr. and Mae Helen Miller. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Fulton Beasley, Jr.: two sons, James William Brownlee, Jr. (Tammy), Michael Sean Weaver: two daughters, Cynthia Suzanne Stanley, Shirley Jean Lee (Frank): two brothers, Joseph Miller Jr. (Terri), Lonnie Miller (Jan): sister, Shirley Michael: grandchildren, Milton Jones, Jr., Alexander Lee, Christopher Lee, Matthew Lee, Joshua Lee, Rachel Prieto, Ashley Knight, Colton Brownlee, Lincoln Weaver, Cyndel Stanley: great grandchildren, Christian Lee, Charlotte Lee, Cecilia Jones, Remington Prieto. Mrs. Beasley was also loved greatly by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Beasley will be held at 3 P.M, Friday, January 21 in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, FL.
