Gwendolyn Irene Bunn

Mrs. Gwendolyn Irene Bunn, age 71, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Tuesday, December 6th in the St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital following an extended illness. Gwen was born in Macclenny, FL and moved to Baldwin, FL in 1954. She was a graduate of Baldwin High School, Class of 1969 and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Baldwin, FL. Gwen worked for Prudential Insurance for over 34 years until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed having family game nights. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Eunice Beal Keene, late husband, Thomas W. Bunn, Jr., and two sisters, Sarah Davis Pittman and Mary Louise Eddy. She is survived by one son, Richard Bunn (Sherry) of Green Cove Springs, FL: two daughters, Stephanie Bunn of Jacksonville, FL and Kimberly Browning (Kenneth) of Bryceville, FL: one brother, James Keene (Gwenn) of Jacksonville, FL: one sister, Marlene Joyner (Jimmy) of Alma, GA. Five grandchildren, Chloe Bunn, Camden Davis, Trevor Browning, Chloe Davis, MaKayla Browning also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Gwen will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, December 13th in the First United Methodist Church of Baldwin with Pastor Ike Mathews officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Monday, December 12th at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Brandy Branch Cemetery.
