Hance Jones

Mr. Hance Brince Jones, age 78, of Sanderson, Florida died Sunday, Nov. 25, in the Macclenny Nursing and Rehab Center, Macclenny, Florida following an extended illness. Mr. Jones was born in Macclenny, Florida and lived most of life in Sanderson, Florida. He was the owner- operator of Brince Jones Land Fill for over 40 years before his retirement. He was a man that enjoyed farming, fishing and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hance and Eunice Sapp Jones, grandson, Tyler Nettles and brothers, Robert Jones and Paul Jones. He is survived by his wife, Martha Beasley Jones of Sanderson, Florida: Five children, Rhonda Wilkins and Sandy (James) Smith both of Macclenny, Florida, Darren (Melissa) Jones of Jacksonville, Florida, Denise (Danny) Ellis and Tina Johns both of Glen St. Mary, Florida: Two brothers, Lex Jones and Dwight Jones both of Sanderson, Florida: One sister, Lila Mae Lucky of Albany, Georgia: Eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Jones will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, Nov. 27, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Richardson, Pastor of the Community Full Gospel Church, officiating. Interment will be in South Prong Cemetery, Sanderson, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, Nov. 26, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East., Macclenny, Florida.
