Mr. Harry Lee Lang, age 70, of Lake City, Fla. died Tuesday, April 23, at his home following a brief illness. He was a life long resident of Lake City and was the son of the late William L. "Luke" and Rose Ayers Lang and was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ruth Lang. He worked as a motor grader operator with the Suwannee County Road Department for over 25 years until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and attended The Lauraville Baptist Church and enjoyed riding in a semi-truck with his son. He is survived by two daughters, Lorie Ann (Neal) Howard and Janice (Ronald) Russ both of Lake City, Fla.: One son, Harry Curt (Sheila) Lang of Lake City, Fla.: Two sisters, Faye Taylor of Lake City, Fla. and Martha Mae Payne of Arden, N.C.: Two brothers, Bill Lang and David Lang both of Lake City, Fla.: Six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren: Sister-in-laws, Carolyn Lang and Margaret Waters both of Lake City, Fla.: Brother-in-law, Buddy Gaddy: Two close friends, John Panaway and Chuck Chavis. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 P.M., Friday, April 26, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home wit Rev. Ray Shaw officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Beulah Cemetery, Suwannee County, Fla. Visitation will be from 11 to 12 P.M., Friday (One hour before service time) at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Fla.
