Hazel Irene Mccall

Mrs. Hazel Irene McCall, age 88, of Lake City, Florida died Friday, July 22, in the Douglas Center for Caring, Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. McCall was born in Penny Farms, Florida and had resided in Lake City, Florida for the past 65 years. She worked at the Magnolia Restaurant for many years and for Belk’s Department Stores in Gainesville and Lake City, Florida for over 15 years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was the daughter of the late Acie and Abbie Spear Bryant. She is survived by her son, Craig (Kimberly) Ash of Benton, Tennessee; her grandson, Dustin W. Ash of Lake City, Florida; two sisters, Katherine Kirby of Lake City, Florida and Juanita Kirby of Perry, Florida; Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Per Mrs. McCall’s wishes there will be no services. Cremation arrangements are handled by GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. MAIN Blvd., Lake City, Florida
