Howard Randolph Buckles Jr

Howard Randolph Buckles, Jr. , of Lake City passed away on October 29, 2015 in Gainesville, Florida.  Howard was born to the late Howard and Mable Buckles in Palatka, Florida.  Mr. Buckles was a lifetime resident of the local area. He proudly served his country in the Florida National Guard for twenty years before his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Lantern Park Baptist Church in Lake City. Howard enjoyed Hunting and fishing but above all he loved his family. He leaves to cherish his memory Sons, Todd (Yolanda)Buckles of Orange City, Florida, Bryan Buckles and Brad (Ashley) Buckles both of Lake City, Florida. Daughter, Tandae Law of Lake City, Florida,  Brother, David Buckles of Palatka, Florida, Sisters, Susan Wilkes and Claudia Thompson both of Palatka, Florida. Nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Buckles will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Lantern  Park Baptist Church with Pastor Neal Howard officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens  in Lake City.
