Idella Elora "Lori" Thomas

Mrs. Idella Elora “Lori” Thomas, age 63, of St. George, Georgia died Saturday, Feb. 29th, at her home following a long illness. She was born in Gainesville, Florida and lived in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to St. George, Georgia 17 years ago. She worked as an ultra sound tech for Ed Fraser Hospital in Macclenny, Florida for many years. Mrs. Thomas loved the river, photography, fireworks, the color purple, horses, having family gatherings, kayaking and other water activities, and going to the beach. She was a loyal person and a great role model to her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her brother, Gil Ravan Jr. ; Sister-in-law, Andrea Ravan; mother-in-law, Colline Merritt Thomas; father-in-law, Hal J. Thomas; and brother-in-law, Bruce Merritt. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Jeff Thomas of St. George, Georgia; son, Deron “Andy” Thomas; father, Jack Carter (Flora) Callahan and mother, Louise (Roy) Reeves, her dad, Gil Ravan (Vicky) Montana: two sisters, Julie (Tom) Apromollo and Jackie Carter; three half-sisters, Sandy (Ronnie) Eason, Estelle Carter, and Tia (Mark) Kalina. One brother-in-law, Leonard Dale Thomas; two sister-in-laws, Gloria White Thomas and Julie Thomas. A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Thomas will be held at 6 P.M. Wednesday, March 4th, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home. Final disposition will be by cremation.  Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 P.M. to 6 P.M.
