Inell Pitts

Mrs. Inell Pitts, age 95, of Lake City, Florida died Saturday, Dec. 16, in the Shands at University of Florida Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida following a long illness. She was born in Georgia and had resided in Lake City, Florida for the past 71 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, dancing and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Pitts. She is survived by seven daughters and three sons, Lajauan Adkins, Laverne Pitts, Janice (Bob) Sherman and Annette Jones all of Lake City, Florida, Willena Pitts of Live Oak, Florida, Bonnie (Bobby) Johnson of Henderson, Tennessee and Laujoy (Jimmy) Walker of Ft. White, Florida,Tommy ( Mona) Pitts of Lake City,FL, John E Pitts of Lake City,FL, Raymond (Barbara) Pitts of White Springs : One brother, Jimmy Williams of Milan, Georgia: Two sister, Gracie Williams of Milan, Georgia, Inez Ashley of Milan,Georgia: numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Pitts will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, Dec. 21, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Pitts officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, Dec. 20, at GUERY FUNERL HOME, 2659 S.W.
