Inet Combs Solano

Ms. Inet Combs Solano, age 71, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Tuesday, August 22 in St. Catherine’s Labourne Manor, Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness. Ms. Combs was born in Baker County, FL and resided in Jacksonville, FL at the time of her passing. Ms. Solano was a home maker and spent her days caring for numerous children who all knew her as “nana”. She loved spending time with her family and helping to take care of them. Ms. Solana was preceded in death by her parents, Travis Combs and Rosa Lee Alford Combs, and her late husband, Alton “Al” Edward Solano. She is survived by five daughters, Yolanda Baggett (Dennis) of Sanderson, FL, Vonda Walker (Chris) of Jacksonville, FL, Kimberly Solano, of Montana, Kerrie Meier (Scott) of Ponte Vedra, FL, Amanda Harvey (Joshua) of Virgin Islands: one son, Martin Solano (Lorena): one sister, Goldie Mae Davis of Jacksonville, FL. Twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service to honor the life of Ms. Solano will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, August 25 in the Christian Fellowship Temple with Rev. David Thomas, Pastor, officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. (one hour before services). Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 E., Macclenny, FL is in charge of arrangements.
