Inez Yarbrough Brunson

Mrs. Inez Yarbrough Brunson, age 94, of Lake City, Florida died Sunday, Dec. 13, at her home following a long illness. She was born in Perry, Florida and lived in Atlantic Beach, Florida before moving to Lake City, Florida 20 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed crocheting , working in the yard, loved her animals especially her dog, Angel. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Ernest Kersey, and her parents, John A. and Theresa A. Yarbrough. She is survived by her four daughters, Diana Waters and Sandra (Billy) Manucy both of Lake City, Florida, Linda Wilks of Fort White, Florida and Claudia Cherry of Macclenny, Florida: one son, Claude D. (Clydia) Kersey of Jacksonville, Florida: six step-children: Nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Brunson will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, Dec. 18,  in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Herman Griffin officiating. Interment will be in Swift Creek Cemetery, Union County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Thursday, Dec. 17, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. After the funeral service and burial the family will gather at the Landing Restaurant, U.S 90 East, Lake City, Florida for food and fellowship.
