Mrs. Irene Canaday Taylor, age 91, of Moniac, Georgia died Tuesday, Dec. 31, in the Macclenny Nursing & Rehab Center, Macclenny, Fla. following a long illness. She was born in Moniac, Ga. and lived in Jacksonville, Fla. before moving back to Moniac, Ga. in 1977. She was a homemaker and member of the Moniac Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Canadair and Sallie Burnsed Canaday, her late husband: Lee Roy Taylor, step-mother: Pearl (George) Brown, sister: Kay Canaday (H.C.) Bracewell, and brothers: Aaron (Frances) Canaday, Ronald (Lossie) Canaday, and George Ray (Shirley) Canaday. She is survived by her son, Larry D. (Linda) Taylor of Moniac, Ga. Grandchildren Cathy Mizell of Jacksonville, Fla. and Windy (Keith) Brown of Moniac, Ga.: Great-grandchildren, Heather Mizell, Sabrina (David) Prater, Chrystal Brown and Brian Brown, Jr.: Great-great-grandchild, Lorileo Moore. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Friday, Jan. 3, in the Moniac Baptist Church with Rev. Bill McCloud officiating and assisted by Rev. Matt Roush, Pastor of Moniac Baptist Church. Interment will be in Canaday Cemetery, Moniac, Ga. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 A.M. (One hour before services) at the church. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.
