Iris Wilkinson

Mrs. Iris Lily Violet Ruby Wilkinson, precious wife, mother and grandmother, left her temporary home on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 and began her eternal life with Jesus. Although her battle here on earth was lost, she is now made whole again. Mrs. Wilkinson was 79 years of age and was born in London, England and resided in Jacksonville, Florida most of her life. She was a homemaker and attended the First Baptist Church of Maxville, Florida. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wilbur N. Wilkinson of Jacksonville, Florida: Her two sons, Dale (Lynda) Wilkinson of Jacksonville, Florida and David (Lucia) Wilkinson of Bryceville, Florida: One sister, Joanie Thompson of Jacksonville, Florida: Three grandchildren, Ryan Wilkinson, Davina Christy and Devin Lily Wilkinson: Two great-grandchildren, Brayden Christy and Torie Christy also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Wilkinson will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, May 2, in the First Baptist Church of Maxville, Florida with Rev. Richard Fish, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Long Branch Cemetery, Clay County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 8 P.M.
