Jacqueline Dawn Smith

Jacqueline Dawn Smith, 50, of Macclenny, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by nothing but love on September 12,2024. Jackie was born on August 21, 1974 in Charleston, WV to the late Sharon White- Spencer and Edward Spencer.

Jackie moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1993 and then to Macclenny, FL in 2002. She worked a variety of roles such as bookkeeping, project management and office management over a course of 31 years. She was a woman full of personality, sass, and had a huge heart. She was affectionately known as “Momma J” to many. In all of the many roles she held over the years, being a mom to her two daughters as well as the many friends that came along with it, was her most beloved title. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters, line dancing with her Gator Patrick’s family, and drinking a cold coke while cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Jackie is survived by her two daughters, Katelyn (Alex) Lloyd and Krystyn Kingsley (Rhett Crawford), her father, Edward (Martha) Spencer, stepsister, Renele (David) Burford, and stepbrother, Richard Leach. She leaves behind a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service to honor the life of Jackie will be held at 12 P.M., Thursday, September 19th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home. A visitation and gathering with the family will begin at 11 A.M.
