James Edward Bailey
March 24, 1932 — February 6, 2014
James Edward Bailey, 81 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2014 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. Mr. Bailey was born in Roanoke, Alabama to the late Luther Bailey and Bonnie Lee Lewis Bailey. He served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from Pan Am World Services as a Security Officer.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel E. Bailey, Lake City; his children, Rita Holder, Melbourne, FL, Barry Bailey (Denise), Palm Bay, FL and Mark Bailey (Cathy), Marietta, GA; two grandchildren also survive.
A gathering of family was held on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Guerry Funeral Home with the interment following at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lake City.
