James W. "Jim" Duval

Mr. James W. “Jim” Duval, age 71, of Glen St. Mary, Fla. died Monday, Oct. 31, in the Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Fla. following a long illness. He was born in Baldwin, Fla. and moved to Glen St. Mary, Fla. in 1972. He owned and operated Jim’s Truck & Diesel & Wrecker Service, Macclenny, Fla. for over 20 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Glen St. Mary, Fla. and enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha L. Duval and by his parents, Phil and Mary E. Allen Duval.

He is survived by two sons, Marcus (Dora) Duval of Ft. Bliss, Texas and Phil (Jeana) Duval of Macclenny, Fla.: Two sisters, Faye Thornhill and Christine Jackson both of Sanderson, Fla.: One brother, Phil Allen (Linda) Duval of Tallahassee, Fla.: Three grandchildren, Stephanie (Jeff) Huddleson, Jessica Duval and Klate Duval: Two great-granddaughters, Isabel and Kinsley: His niece and care-giver, Karen Finley of Glen St. Mary, Fla.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Thursday, Nov. 3, in the First Baptist Church, Glen St. Mary, Fla. with Rev. Randy Williams, Pastor, officiating with a eulogy from Mr. Dan Kerr. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Fla. Visitation will be from 6-9 PM Wednesday, Nov. 2, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, Fla.
