Mr. James Alonzo Milligan, age 90, of Lake City, Fla. died Thursday, July 28, in the V.A. Medical Center, Lake City, Fla. after an extended illness. He was born and raised in Lake City and lived in Savannah, Ga. and then moved back to Lake City in 1976. He was the son of the late Sylvan Smauel Milligan and Early Helen Feagle Milligan and the widower of the late Arnellies Parker Milligan. He was an Army veteran of W.W. II and enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry (Eddie) Davis of Lake City, Fla. and Nellie Mae Legere of Savannah, Ga.: One son, Rober "Bobby" (Kathy) Milligan of Lake City, Fla.: One brother, Clarence (Ann) Milligan of Lake City, Fla.: Seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 3PM Saturday, July 30, in Christ Central Ministries with Rev. Lonnie Johns, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Columbia County, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, July 29, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Fla.
