Janice Diane Corbett

Mrs. Janice Diane Corbett, age 75 of Sanderson, passed away on Tuesday, November 29th.  She was born on January 19th, 1947, in LaGrange, Georgia, to E.K. and Fannie Abney. She had resided in Sanderson, Florida, for the last 25 years after moving from Brunswick, Georgia. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, canning her vegetables, and cooking meals for friends and family. Mrs. Corbett thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be missed by many.

Mrs. Corbett is preceded in death by her parents, E.K. and Fannie Abney and one sister, Elease Masten.

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Wayne Corbett, of Sanderson, Florida; One son, Jeff (Rebecca) Matheny of Fleming Island, Florida; One Daughter, Stacey Conner of Sanderson, Florida; and three grandchildren; Oakley (Megan) Waltman, Coleman Matheny, and Blake Matheny also survive.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Corbett will be held at 1 P.M., Monday, December 5th, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home. Final disposition will be by cremation. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 12 to 1 P.M. (one hour before services) at the chapel. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
