Janine Eunice Thiesen

Ms. Janine Eunice Thiesen, 45, of Lake City, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, March 1, 2017 at the Baya Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. She was born in Dinuba, California on January 5, 1972 to Janice Weiss Thiesen and the late Vester Albert Thiesen. She has lived in the Lake City area since the early 90s; she was a teacher volunteer for three years, reading to local kindergarteners. She loved cats and loved to read her bible, and had memorized quite a few verses. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Athens Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving mother: Janice Thiesen of Lake City and her brothers: Kelly Thiesen of Lake City and Doug Thiesen of California.
A memorial service honoring the life of Ms. Thiesen is being planned for a later date at the Athens Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Guerry Funeral Home, 2659 SW Main Blvd, Lake City, 386-752-2414.
