Mr. Jason Donald “Mule” Combs passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 22 in Jacksonville, Florida. Jason was born in Macclenny, Florida and lived in Baker County his entire life. He worked as a mechanic and welder all of his life and was employed by First Coast Terminals, in Jacksonville, Florida. Jason was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting anything that he could. He also enjoyed watching his sons and daughter play sports. Jason was loved by his family and friends, who would always speak on how caring he was. Mr. Combs is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Nichole Combs, whom he just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with on April 2. He is also survived by his loving parents: Donald and Kay Combs, in-laws: Donnie and Teri Allen, two sons: Logan Donald (Sydney) Combs, Caleb Riley (Miranda Geiger) Combs, daughter: Brooklyn Nicole Combs, two brothers: Jeffrey (Tiffany) Combs, Justin (Taylor) Combs and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
A funeral service to honor the life of Jason Combs will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, May 28, at Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, Florida with Pastors Timmy Thomas and Bryan Richardson officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. at the church. Interment will be at North Prong Cemetery, Sanderson, Florida.
