Jessie Camillia Bishop

Mrs. Jessie Camillia Bishop, age 78, of Macclenny, FL passed away Friday, June 7 in the Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL following a brief illness. Mrs. Bishop was born in Jacksonville, Florida and resided there until moving to Macclenny, Florida 38 years ago. She was a godly woman and served the Lord all of her life. Mrs. Bishop worked as an LPN at Reception Medical Center, Lake Butler, FL for over 20 years until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading books, watching movies, and traveling to the Smokey Mountains. She was also always up for a good car ride. Mrs. Bishop is preceded in death by her parents: William and Jessie Turner. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Willard Bishop, Jr., 4 sons: James (Wendy) Stratton, Donnie (Margo) Bishop, Erik Bishop, Keith (Jenni) Bishop, 2 daughters: Camey (Sasa) Savurdic, Whitney Bishop, 3 brothers: Billy Turner, Brian Turner, Michael Turner, sister: Julie Betz, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Bishop will be held on Friday, June 21 at 12:00 P.M. at Guerry Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mark Richardson officiating. A visitation and gathering with the family will be one hour prior from 11 to 12:00 P.M. at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers please send arrangements to Guerry Funeral Home Macclenny for the service.
