Mrs. Jessie Kathleen Witt Richardson, age 88, of Jacksonville, Florida died Saturday, March 21, in the Cross Care Center, Jacksonville, Florida following a long illness. She was born in Lake City, Florida and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1963. She worked as a traffic dispatcher with AT & T for thirty-eight years until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and graduated from Mason City High School class of 1943. She enjoyed crocheting and raising cockatiels. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Purvis and Jessie Wood Witt and her late husband, James Robert Richardson. She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela D. (Richard) Cormier of Jacksonville, Fla. and Deborah Burgess of Fruitcove, Fla.: One brother, Gerald Witt of Lake City, Florida: Six grandchildren, Misty Bias, Richard D. Cormier, III, Maxine Payne, Robert Burgess, Bobbie Jo Brock and Tyler Brock. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 25, in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Rev. Brandon Witt officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, March 24, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
