Mr. Jimmie Mixon Holland, age 85, of Cumming, Georgia died Tuesday, March 3, in the Northside Forsyth Hospital, Cumming, Georgia following an extended illness. He was born in Moultrie, Georgia and lived in Macclenny, Florida before moving to Tallahassee, Fla. and Moultrie, Ga. and then to Cumming, Ga. In 2009. He worked as a refrigeration supervisor with Winn Dixie Grocery Company, Jacksonville, Fla. for over 40 years. He was a former member of the First Assembly of God Church, Macclenny, Fla. and enjoyed fishing, camping and wood working. He was preceded in death by his parents, Needham and Fannie Lou Deloach Holland, Sr. and his late wife, Gwendolyn Ann Holland. He is survived by three daughters, Tammy S. Holland (Martha Barton) of Cumming, Georgia and Terri (Dennis) Hutto and Judy (Danny) Dunn both of Macclenny, Florida: Two sisters, Betty Maxine (David) Schramm of Orlando, Fla. and Nettie (Steve) Tylka of Wadsworth, Ohio: Five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 P.M. Friday, March 6, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Elder David Crawford, Pastor of the Macclenny Primitive Baptist church, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1:30 to 3 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
