Jo Ann Keene Barnes

Mrs. Jo Ann Keene Barnes, age 73, of Macclenny, Florida died Thursday, Jan 23, in Orange Park, Florida. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida and lived in Middleburg, Florida before moving to Macclenny, Florida 27 years ago. She worked as an investment officer with First Union Bank, Jacksonville, Fla. for over 22 years.  She enjoyed collecting things for her home. She was a member of the Clay Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben Calvin and Inez Hilliard Keene and a brother, Donald C. Keene. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Duncan of Jacksonville, Florida and Rebecca Barnes of Macclenny, Florida: one son, Michael G. Barnes of Macclenny, Florida: Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.  A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Barnes will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, Jan. 28, in the Macedonia Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 420 East Macclenny Avenue, Macclenny, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
