Mrs. Joan Pearl Smith, 56, of Macclenny, Florida died Friday, February 3, 2012 in the St. Vincents Medical Center, Jacksonville, Fl. following a brief illness.
She had resided in Macclenny, Florida all of her life. She worked as a beautician for many years until ill health forced her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting and playing games on her computer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Anna Louise Davis Mobley her siblings, Randall Leon Mobley, Sr., Gregory Lee Mobley and Daryl Wayne Mobley, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of thirty seven years Donald G. Smith, Macclenny, Fl. Two Sons: Richard F. Smith and Donald R. Smith both of Macclenny, Fl. Sister: Karen D. Mobley of Macclenny, Fl. Two grandchildren, Savannah Lynn Parrish of Macclenny, Fl. and Carly Joan Smith of Wildwood, Fl.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in the Christian Fellowship Temple with the Rev. Tim Thomas, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday February 6, 2012 at Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, Florida.
