John Larry Baity

Mr. John Larry Baity, age 73, of Macclenny, Florida passed away, Monday, February 13, in the St. Vincent’s Medical Center Southside, Jacksonville, Florida following a brief illness. Mr. Baity was raised in Kings Mountain, North Carolina and lived in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Baker County, Florida 25 years ago. Mr. Baity was retired from a mail delivery trucking company where he worked for 30 years and then worked for three years at Owen and Minor Medical Supplies before ill health forced his retirement. He loved his family and enjoyed watching Fox News. Mr. Baity is preceded in death by his late wife, Rosie Voncille Baity. He is survived by three sons, Shane (Sharon) Baity of Macclenny, Florida, John (Bobbie) Baity of Jacksonville, Florida and Richard (Charity) Baity of Jacksonville, Florida: two daughters, Pam Brickle and Rhonda Nash both of Macclenny, Florida. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Baity will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, February 17, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Woods officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Thursday, February 16 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Florida.
