Mr. John Henry Cribb, Jr., age 82, of Hilliard, Florida died Tuesday, July 22, in the V.A. Medical Center, Gainesville, Fla. following a brief illness. He was born in Georgetown, South Carolina and lived in Jacksonville, Fla. before moving to Hilliard, Florida in 1971. He worked as a machine operator with Anchor Glass Company, Jacksonville, Fla. for 32 years. He was a member of The Taylor Church, Taylor, Fla., a member of the International Association of Machinists Union and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He loved fishing, camping , blue grass music and being with his family. He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Cribb of Hilliard, Fla.: Three daughters, Glynda (Wilburn) Burch and Rosette (George) Stanhope both of Green Cove Springs, Fla. and Debbie Williams of Jacksonville, Fla.: Four sons, Dennis (Sandy) Cribb and William Sweat both of Jacksonville, Fla., Louis (Linda) Cribb of Middleburg, Fla. and Jim (Brenda) Cribb of Starke, Fla.: Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Friday, July 25, in The Taylor Church with Rev. Marks Woods, Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev, Jim Cox, Associate Pastor. Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery, Taylor, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, July 24, at the church.
