John Ephram Pitts

Mr. John Ephram Pitts, age 79, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Saturday, Jan. 7, in the HCA Florida Lake City Hospital, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. Mr. Pitts was born in Homerville, Georgia and resided in Lake City, Florida for over seventy years. Mr. Pitts worked in the logging industry and was owner of J.E. Welding and Diesel Service for many years. He was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, E. Faye Pitts; his parents, John A. and Inell Pitts; one son, Ricky Pitts; one grandson, Brandon Pitts; his brother, Tommy (Mona) Pitts. He is survived by two sons, Randy (Lori) Pitts and Ryan (Terri) Pitts; one brother, Raymond (Barbara) Pitts; sisters, Lajauan Pitts Akins, Willene Pitts, Bonnie (Bobby) Johnson, Laujoy (Jimmy) Walker, Janice (Bob) Sherman, Laverne Pitts and Annett (Jeff) Jones; grandchildren, Michael (Hailee) Pitts, Christopher (Amber) Pitts, Wesley (Miracle) Pitts, Maci Pitts and Ricky Pitts; great-grandchildren, Micaela (Colby) Holton, Brooklyn Pitts, Mattew Pitts, Brandon Pitts, Laim Greenwood, Blair Pitts and Aaliyah Greenwood; one great-great-grandchild, Caroline Holton, also survive.
