Joyce Davis Herold

Mrs. Joyce Davis Herold, 79, passed away peacefully Friday, Nov.  6, in the St. Vincents  Medical Center Riverside, Jacksonville, Florida following a lengthy battle with cancer.  Joyce was born in Manning, Florida on October 27, 1936 and resided in Macclenny, Florida .  She was the third of twelve children of the late Mary Margaret and Josie Davis, Sr.  In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brother, Coy Lee Davis.  Joyce is survived by her son, Dwight Herold of Macclenny, Florida and her daughter,  Maria (Richard) Toelle  of Simpsonville,  South Carolina and grandchildren, Nicholas Toelle and Stephen Toelle:  She is also survived by her brothers and sisters,  Jimmy (Nina) Davis, Merilyn Brown, Morris  (Jo) Davis, Eteyle  (Walter) Charron,  Josie (Pam) Davis, Jr., Richard (Sylvia) Davis ,Clarice (Johnny) Tillman, Janice (Don) Jordan,  Larry (Sharon) Davis and  Cherry (Ed) Barber.  A memorial service will be held  at 2 P.M. Saturday, Nov.  14, in the Manntown  Congregational Church in Glen St. Mary, Florida.
