Joylee M Brillhart

Joylee M. Brillhart 75 years old passed away on March 4 quietly at her home after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her family. Born in Chillicothe, Ohio October 31, 1938 to the late Robert and Maxine McCarty. Joylee graduated from Keene High School in 1956.
She married Harold Lee Brillhart in Coshocton, Ohio on June 16, 1957. They moved to Lake City, Florida to begin the adventure of life together. They had five children and were married 56 years.
They were members of Bethel United Methodist Church of Lake City. She retired from Winn Dixie in1990 after 18 years of service. Harold joined her in retirement 4 years later. They traveled and camped across many states. She enjoyed good fellowship and good music after a Pot Luck dinner while sitting under The Picken Shed at the Spirit of The Suwannee on many occasions.
Joy shared life with 2 sisters and 1 brother. She gave life to 4 daughters, Rebecca Robinson-Carroll (husband JD) Rachel Daniels ( husband Bobby) Rose Meadows (husband Mark) Kitty Dawson (husband Chester) and
1 son Ronnie Brillhart. She also had 6 Grand children, 15 Great-Grand Children and 1 Great-Great Grand daughter.
The family ask friends that in lieu of flowers to send a donation to Haven Hospice for the great work they do. Donations can be sent to 6037 West US Hwy 90 Lake City, Fl 32055.

Mom, thank you for teaching your children the value of hard work and honesty. You were an wonderful mother and friend. We are all going to miss you so. We will take care of Daddy till he joins you in the other life.
