Mrs. Juanita “Nita” Burnsed Crawford, age 91, of Orange Park, Florida died Friday, Nov. 20, in the Life Care Center of Orange Park, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Crawford was born in Macclenny, Florida and resided in Jacksonville, Florida for many years before moving to Orange Park, Fla. 14 years ago. She worked as an insurance clerk with Independent Life Insurance Company, Jacksonville, Fla. for over twenty five years until her retirement in 1985. She was the widow of the late Lloyd N. Crawford and the daughter of the late Fred and Rosie Mae Rhoden Burnsed. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (John) Ball of Orange Park, Florida: one sister, Beulah Mae Rewis of Macclenny, Fla.: Two granddaughters, Lori (David) Childers and Lisa Pierson: Four great-grandchildren, Caroline, Davis, Connor and Colby: Her sister-in-law, Deloris Crews: numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Crawford will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, Nov. 27, in the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Crawford officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Baker County, Fla. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Friday (One hour before services) at her church.
