Julia May Glover

Mrs. Julia May Glover, age 93, of White Springs, Florida died Tuesday, May 11, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. She was born in Tennille, Florida and lived in Pahokee, Florida before moving to White Springs, Florida 55 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the White Springs Church of God She was an Army veteran of W.W. II, serving in the U.S. Army Women’s Corp. She loved cooking, traveling and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Allen Glover, Jr. and her parents, Sam and Mary Durden Woodall. She is survived by her two sons, Richard W. (Linda) Glover Sr. of Live Oak, Florida and George S. Glover, III of White Springs, Florida: Three grandsons, Richard W. Glover, Jr., Randall W. Glover and George S. Glover, IV: Eight great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Glover will be held at 7 P.M. Friday, May 14, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Ogburn, Pastor of Watertown Congregational Methodist Church, officiating. Final disposition will be by cremation.
