Julie Lauren Jones (Hodges)

Ms. Julie Lauren Jones (Hodges), age 27, passed away on August 10, 2024 in Port Orange, Florida. Julie was a bright, shining light who captivated everyone who knew and loved her. She grew to be a strong confident woman with her own sense of self, ideas, ambitions and opinions. She was so proud when she got her real estate license. Julie loved all animals, especially her dog Henley. She enjoyed listening to Eagles music, her favorite song was Take it To the Limit. She also enjoyed riding her Indian motorcycle along the Florida coast. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dan and Sue Fogarty of Spring Hill, Tennessee and paternal grandmother, Shirley A. Hodges of Lake City, Florida. She is survived by her father, Richard L. Hodges of Dickson, Tennessee; her mother, Dawn R. Kelly of Columbia, Tennessee; grandfather, Richard A. Hodges of Lake City, Florida; her uncle, Alan C. Hodges of Holcomb, Mississippi. A celebration of life ceremony will be held by the Hodges family in Lake City, Florida at a later date. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida.
