Kathleen Rose Sauls

Mrs. Kathleen  “Kathy”  Rose Sauls, age 80, of Lake City, Florida died Friday,  Dec. 5, in the  Shands at  Lake Shore Hospital, Lake City, Florida following a long illness.  She was born in Wadena, Minnesota  and had resided in Lake City, Florida since 1971.  She was a former military civil  service employee and also worked as a teachers  aide with the Epiphany Catholic Church School of Lake City, Fla. for over ten years.  She was a member of the Epiphany Catholic Church, Lake City, Fla., a member of the Saint Anne’s Guild of the church. She enjoyed growing orchids and African violet flowers.  She is survived by her daughter, Mary Sauls of Vero Beach, Fla.:  Three  sons,  John (Cindy) Sauls  and Richard (Lynn)  Sauls both of Lake City, Fla. and Stephen Sauls of Gainesville, Fla.:  One granddaughter,  Shelby Sauls  also survives.    The funeral mass will be held at 3 P.M.  Wednesday, Dec.  10,  in the Epiphany Catholic Church with Father Michael  Pendergraft,  officiating.  Interment will be in the Hawthorne Family Cemetery, Columbia County, Florida .  Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, Dec. 9,  with a rosary service  to be recited from 7:30 to 8 P.M. at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Fla. www.guerryfuneralhome.net
