Katrina Michelle Hiers

Mrs. Katrina Michelle Hiers, age 70, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Tuesday, Jan, 21, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida. Mrs. Hiers was born in White Springs, Florida then moved to Adel, Georgia before moving to Lake City fourteen years ago. While living in Adel, Georgia she worked as a security guard and after moving to Lake City she worked as a security guard at Florida Gateway College. She also was the owner of Katrina’s Restaurant in Jasper, Florida for over six years. She loved her garden and flowers and was a great cook. She was preceded in death by parents, William Preston and Ruby W. Register Stormant, her son Billy Moody and three siblings, Gloria Stormant, Sandra Harvey and Keith Stormant. She is survived by her husband, Simmie Hiers, III of Lake City, Florida; her daughter, Kristie (Lynn) Crowell of Elba, Alabama; three grandchildren, Tyler Hall, Fischer (Joanna) Crowell and Jacob Moody. Guerry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
