Kentrella Sue Pearce

Kentrella Sue Pearce left us to join her heavenly father on July 10, 2022. She was 75 years old. Kentrella, or Sue to those who knew her, was a fighter. No matter what life threw at her, and it threw a lot, she was determined to beat it. She would always say "Mind over matter." Sue was a fine example of strength and resilience. Some would say stubbornness. There was no quit in Sue. She kept her sense of humor through all the ups and downs. Sue loved to craft. She would crochet everyone she knew and their friends blankets and pillows. Being the wife of a longtime Shriner, Sue sewed 'Diddy bags' and lap blankets for children at the Shriners hospitals for many years. Sue is survived by her husband of 57 years Jim Pearce and their daughter Patty Register, granddaughter Tiffany Register, and two neices; Tracy (John), Tina (Terry), Nephew Brian Boomer (Jacky) along with The Register family and many beloved friends. She is preceded in death by her brother Bud Craig and her parents Charlie and Catherine Swarms. They invite you to join them for a memorial service at Guerry Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 13th at 11am with Rev. Jerry Tyre officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be at 10 A.M. (One hour prior) the same day. Internment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens following the service.
