Leila Lee Aughtry

Mrs. Leila Lee Aughtry, age 85, of Macclenny, Fla. passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Macclenny Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Columbia, S.C. on September 26, 1927 and resided in Charolette, N.C. for most of her life. She moved to Baker County in 2001 and resided with her daughter. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Sadie Hooker. Mrs. Aughtry was of the Baptist faith and spent her days as a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Collins of Macclenny, Fla. and Linda Lee of Midland, N.C.: One Son, Richard Aughtry of Indian Trail, N.C.: Five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
