Ms. Lelia Ethel Lauramore, age 83, of Glen St. Mary, Fl. passed away Tuesday, July 21, in the Frank Wells Nursing Home, Macclenny, Fl. following an extended illness. Ms. Lauramore was born in Macclenny, Fl. and remained a resident of Baker County for the majority of her life. She was a health care provider at the Northeast Florida State Hospital, Macclenny, Fl. for many years and was also an ordained minister. Ms. Lauramore was a member of the Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church, Glen St. Mary, Fl. and enjoyed performing Sunday morning services at Frank Wells Nursing Home, Macclenny, Fl. Ms. Lauramore is preceded in death by her parents, Romey and Mary Mathis Thompson and one son, Raymond Edward Luke. She is survived by her son, Romey Earl Luke (Mary) of Lake City, Fl. and her daughter, Leah Hope Goldsmith (Charlie) of Glen St. Mary, Fl. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. A remembrance service to honor the life of Ms. Lauramore will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, July 24, at the Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church, Glen St. Mary, Fl. with her son, Rev. Romey Luke and grandson, Rev. Eddie Luke, officiating. A visitation and gathering with the family will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, July 23 at the church.
