Lettie Viola Thomas

Mrs. Lettie Viola Thomas, age 100, of Macclenny, Florida died Thursday, Feb. 19, in the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Macclenny, Florida following a long illness. She had resided in Macclenny, Florida all of her life and worked in the food service department of Northeast Florida State Hospital, Macclenny, Fla. for many years. She was a member of the Manntown Congregational Holiness Church, Glen St. Mary, Florida for over eighty years and loved gardening and working outside. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Sarah Bennett Rhoden, her husband, Romey Lee Thomas, her daughter, Frankie M. Harvey, her son, Dempsey Lee Thomas, her brothers, Artis Rhoden, Jessie James Rhoden and Frank Rhoden, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Jerry W. Thomas and Larry W. (Virginia) Thomas both of Macclenny, Florida: Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 P.M. Monday, Feb. 23, in the Manntown Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. David Hodges, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Manntown Cemetery, Glen St. Mary, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 3 to 4 P.M. Monday (One hour before services) at her church. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.
