Mrs. Lillian Merle Wasmund, age 70, of Fort White, Florida died Thursday, Jan. 8, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. She was a native of De Funiak Springs, Florida and had resided in Auburndale, Fla. before moving to Fort White, Fla. 14 years ago. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, cooking and working puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Nola Bell Cook Goodwin. She is survived by her husband, Roger R. Wasmund of Fort White, Fla.: Two sons, Rex Wilson of Fort White, Florida and Allen Wilson of Mayo, Florida: Two step-sons, Allen Wasmund, Sr. of Orlando, Fla. and Anthony Jude Wasmund of Bartow, Fla.: One step-daughter, Jauquenline Vamforth of Haines City, Fla.: One grandson, Bobby Wilson also survive. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 A.M. Monday, Jan. 12, in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 P.M.
